About the hotel
Torre Sevilla was designed by César Pelli and developed by Puerto Triana, now controlled by CaixaBank, and was built despite UNESCO concerns about its impact on Seville's historic skyline. It holds offices, with a shopping centre and the CaixaForum cultural centre alongside. The Eurostars hotel opened on the upper floors in October 2018 with 244 rooms, El Duende restaurant overlooking the Guadalquivir, the rooftop Terraza Atalaya and a spa. It stands on Isla de la Cartuja, the former Expo '92 site.
