About the hotel
Taipei Sky Tower, also called The Sky Taipei, is a hotel and retail tower under construction in the Xinyi Planning District, on the former site of the CTBC Financial headquarters and the New Stage theatre. Developed mainly by Shuo He Development, it was designed by Milan studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. The tower topped out in November 2022 and is planned to house two Hyatt hotels, a Park Hyatt and an Andaz, above a shopping mall; sources from 2026 put completion in 2026-27.
