About the hotel

Park Hyatt Shanghai opened in 2008 in the upper floors of the Shanghai World Financial Center, the Kohn Pedersen Fox-designed tower developed by Japan's Mori Building and nicknamed 'the bottle opener' for the trapezoidal opening at its peak. The floors below the hotel are mainly offices. The hotel has 173 rooms and suites with interiors by New York designer Tony Chi, conceived as a modern Chinese residence, and its main restaurant, 100 Century Avenue, takes its name from the tower's address in Pudong's Lujiazui financial district.
