About the hotel
Hotel Ukraina is one of Moscow's Stalin-era 'Seven Sisters' skyscrapers, designed by Arkady Mordvinov and Vyacheslav Oltarzhevsky and opened in May 1957 on a bend of the Moskva River at the start of Kutuzovsky Prospekt. After a three-year restoration that kept its facade, it reopened in 2010 as the Radisson Royal and became the Radisson Collection Hotel in 2019. Its roughly 500 rooms are joined by a 50-metre indoor pool, more than 1,200 paintings by Russian artists, a 1977 diorama of Moscow and a fleet of river yachts.
