About the hotel

The Minnan Hotel occupied the upper part of the Minnan Building (Minnan Plaza), an office and hotel tower completed in 1995 on Hubin South Road in Xiamen's Siming District, near Yundang Lake. Also marketed as the Metropark Hotel Xiamen, it had around 190 rooms and a revolving restaurant at the top of the tower. Booking sites now list a Hampton by Hilton that opened in the Minnan Building in 2024, complete with a revolving breakfast restaurant, which appears to have replaced it.
