About the hotel

Developed by Steve Wynn's Mirage Resorts on the former Dunes site and opened in October 1998, Bellagio was designed by Jon Jerde and themed on the village of Bellagio on Italy's Lake Como. The lake in front stages the free Fountains of Bellagio show, while inside are a botanical conservatory, Dale Chihuly's lobby glass sculpture 'Fiori di Como', a fine-art gallery and Cirque du Soleil's water show 'O'. A Spa Tower added in 2004 took it to nearly 4,000 rooms; MGM Resorts operates it for a Blackstone-led owner.
