About the hotel

Opened in January 1997, New York-New York was developed by MGM Grand and Primadonna Resorts as a stylised Manhattan skyline: a single building whose exterior is a cluster of skyscraper replicas, including a version of the Empire State Building, fronted by a Statue of Liberty and a Brooklyn Bridge. The resort at the corner of the Strip and Tropicana Avenue has about 2,000 rooms, a casino and the Big Apple Coaster, which loops in and around the buildings. It is owned by Vici Properties and operated by MGM Resorts.
