About the hotel
Designed by Michael Graves, the Dolphin opened in June 1990, after its twin the Swan, through a joint venture of Disney, developer Tishman and other partners; it is one of the few Walt Disney World resorts not owned and operated by Disney, and Marriott runs it under the Sheraton brand. Its triangular tower is topped by two giant stylised dolphin statues and patterned with turquoise banana leaves. The roughly 1,500-room hotel lies between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios and has restaurants including Todd English's bluezoo.
