About the hotel

Park Hyatt Bangkok occupies the tower of Central Embassy, a luxury retail and hotel complex built for Thailand's Central Group on the former gardens of the British Embassy on Ploenchit Road and designed by AL_A, Amanda Levete's practice, with Pi Design. The tower and the shopping podium below are joined in a single looped form, clad in aluminium tiles that create a shifting, moiré-like pattern. The mall opened in 2014 and the hotel in May 2017; the complex is served by Chit Lom and Phloen Chit BTS stations.
