About the hotel
The Guitar Hotel opened in October 2019 as the centrepiece of a major expansion of the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Hard Rock resort on its Hollywood reservation, which first opened in 2004. Designed by Klai Juba Wald to resemble two guitars back to back, it has 638 rooms and suites and a nightly light show using LED 'strings' and lasers. The resort, now about 1,275 rooms in total, includes a casino, the 7,000-seat Hard Rock Live arena, a lagoon-style pool with cabanas, Rock Spa and Council Oak Steaks & Seafood.
