About the hotel

Steve Wynn built the resort on the site of the Desert Inn, which he bought and closed in 2000; the project was first named Le Rêve. Designed by an in-house team led by DeRuyter Butler, it opened in April 2005 with about 2,700 rooms, a casino and a golf course reworked from the Desert Inn's. Sister resort Encore opened next door in 2008. Restaurants include Wing Lei, and the Lake of Dreams show plays on the resort's lake.
